Tapping chucks

Norm: No norm

Quick change tapping chucks with length compensation on compression and expansion
For the chucking of quick change adaptors for taps.
For machining centres without synchronous spindle.

Version:
- Compact design, with flexible length compensation by compression and tension.
- Adjustable lead-in pressures for different materials and taps.
Application:
- To produce threads that are true to gauge.
- For right-hand and left-hand thread.
- For NC machines and machining centres.

Tapping chucks for synchronisation for collets DIN 6499 (ISO 15488) ER-system
For machining centres with synchronous spindle.

- Synchro tapping chucks compensate synchronisation errors.
- Minimal length compensation on compression and expansion balances very small pitch differences between synchro spindle and tap, which can cause high frictional forces on the thread flanks.
- A possible increase of axial force during the tapping process is reduced to a minimum.
- Suitable for internal coolant.
- Coolant pressure up to max. 100 bar.

ER16 = M3 to M12
ER20 = M3 to M16
ER25 = M3 to M20
ER32 = M3 to M27
ER40 = M3 to M33

Rigid Weldon element
To take taps and others in a Weldon arbor. Plain toolholder, hardened and ground with quick-release coupling. Internal square to take taps and transmit the torque. Clamping mechanism prevents the tap being pulled out. Two drive flats, offset by 180° and 10 mm.

- Attractively priced solution.
- Sturdy, slim version.
- Variation in the clamping and overhang lengths.
