Reduction sleeves for hydraulic chucks
The reduction sleeves for hydraulic chucks act as split collets allowing more shank types and sizes to be gripped in a same chuck.

The run-out with the sleeve is (DCB being the internal diameter of the sleeve):
maximum 5 µm at 3 x ØDCONWS

Transmittable torque with a reduction sleeve is at least equivalent to chucks without a sleeve, for a
similar tool shank.

Note:
As the grooves are not all along the sleeves, the coolant is still forced to come through the tool centre (as when using a hydraulic chuck without sleeve).
