Power milling chucks HKS
KEMMLER high performance power chucks (HKS) are easy to handle, flexible due to reducing bushes, allow high torque transmission and are another
type of mounting for cylindrical shanks. HKS chucks allow higher clamping forces than shrink fit and hydraulic expansion chucks.

The nut and needle bearing of the high-performance power chuck act on the small conical outer diameter of the mounting body, resulting in an extremely high clamping force on the tool shank. Thus a lower tightening torque is required.

The KEMMLER high performance power chucks (HKS) are available with all common spindle interfaces such as DIN, BT, HSK and PSK taper.

Direct clamping:
- Cylindrical shanks with diameters 20, 25 and 32 mm

Clamping with HKS reducing sleeves:
- Cylindrical shanks in the diameter range from 3 to 25 mm
- Weldon shanks in the diameter range from 6 to 25 mm
- Whistle-notch shanks in the diameter range from 6 to 25 mm

Diameter tolerance for suitable tool shanks: maximum h6

Minimum transmittable torque (Nm) on tool shank (measured statically):
- Chuck diameter 20 mm: 780 Nm
- Chuck diameter 25 mm: 1500 Nm
- Chuck diameter 32 mm: 1500 Nm
