IATF 16949

This IATF 16949 certification complements the quality assurance system we have had in place for many years in accordance with DIN/ISO 9001/9002. We decided to obtain certification because quality certification is an almost indispensable requirement for a production company in our industry. IATF 16949 was the right benchmark for this, as this quality assurance standard is not limited to the manufacturing and testing aspect of the products, as was the case with the previous standards. Rather, it is an overall corporate approach that subjects the company's management system, technology, competitiveness, occupational health and safety and environmental protection, among other things, to a very critical review and evaluation.

For us as a manufacturer, certification to IATF 16949 is an important and necessary step towards securing and further expanding our market position. The global validity of this standard will help us in our cooperation with our customers in all industrialized countries.

By achieving IATF 16949 certification, we see an increase in our performance and responsibility to implement customer requirements in a quality-oriented and targeted manner. We review our customer focus not only by listening to our customers, but also by evaluating customer satisfaction and internal customer-supplier relationships within our company. Benchmarking and the optimization of our processes are key functions for further milestones in our success.

DIN EN ISO 14001

At the beginning of May 2003, we expanded our existing quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 to include an environmental management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001. By adapting and supplementing the existing processes and integrating environmentally relevant procedures, a process-oriented, defined quality and environmental management system was established. The documentation takes the form of combined QM/UM system documentation. Our environmental policy is laid down in environmental guidelines that conform to the requirements of DIN EN ISO 14001.
